Wow, I can’t believe I’m through two quarters as a college student already! Spring break has passed, not even one full quarter left, and then summer. Since I’ve been at college for awhile now, I thought it would be a cool idea to do one “lesson” type thing that I’ve learned for each week. Since quarters are 10 weeks, that amounts to the nice, round number of 20. So, without further ado, here they are!
1. Relationships Take Time
2. Don’t Be Afraid to Go Outside Your Comfort Zone

4. Pick Your Classroom Seats Wisely
5. You’ll Have Way More Time Than You Thought You Would
6. No Matter How Many Videos and Blogs You Read, You’ll Inevitably Still Bring Something to College That You Won’t Use
7. Don’t Expect People to Reach Out to You
8. Join Clubs–Get Involved!
9. It’s Ok to Eat Alone
10. The Freshman 15 is as Real as You Want it to Be
11. Dining Hall Food Isn’t as Terrible as You’d Think, But It’s Not Your Mom’s Cooking Either
12. Command Hooks Will Be Your Best Friend
13. Find Your Ideal Study Spot
14. Don’t Forget To Get Enough Sleep
15. Find Your People
16. It Goes By So Fast, So Enjoy Every Moment
17. It’s Ok To Not Know, and It’s Ok To Change Your Major
18. Leave More Time to Get to Class Than You Think It Will Take
19. Professors Don’t Always Prefer to be Called Professor (Maybe it’s just my experience…but I’ve had relatively few who actually prefer that–let me know in the comments!)
